I'm worried about my puppy's vaccination status. (about audit spots) 

Consult your vet for more info on vaccines. Puppies in public areas without full vax series is not without risk. However, there is also behavioral development risk in not training and appropriately socializing your puppy during ages 8-18 weeks old.  We encourage you to still enroll in class as we can modify most of the lessons for you to do with your puppy while your puppy remains safely within your car. We also offer audit spots in class so puppy owners can learn all the information we are teaching in the class to replicate at home! This is a unique opportunity for puppy owners to not miss out on critical training opportunities during puppy's formidable first 18 weeks. 

Persons with audit spots can jump right in to bringing their puppy to class as soon as the puppy is ready!

What is a virtual spot?

A virtual spot is an opportunity for non-local puppy owners, fellow trainers, and other dog professionals to learn all the information available in our puppy class! This unique format is conducted via real-time live stream of every puppy class during the 6 week cycle. Work along side the class from the comfort of home or your local park. Please note that virtual attendees will be able to watch the social interaction and environmental exposure portions of the class, but since they are not attending in-person their puppies will not benefit from this class feature other than the education shared within, but can be replicated on their own. Virtual attendees will not be able to ask questions during the class, but may post clarification-type questions in The Best Puppy Class group on Facebook and a trainer will respond to you. 

**Virtual spots not eligible for Puppy Bag (cost of which is not included in virtual pricing). Live lessons function the same as in-person classes regarding attendance.  

Attendance

We understand things happen and one make up lesson will be available at no charge for each client as a one time courtesy (make ups subject to availability and we cannot promise that it will be the same day of the week/time). All puppy class spots are non-refundable and non-transferable.  

I have two puppies.

Each puppy must be enrolled with their own paid spot for in-person enrollment. Audit spots are charged per household. Virtual spots are charged per account.

What is The Best Puppy Class Facebook group? 

At enrollment, all class attendees of all types will gain access to the Facebook group to post clarification-type questions, connect with class attendees for ongoing appropriate socialization, and share photos of their pups. Those with questions that extend beyond the scope of the group class are welcome to book an in-person or virtual private lesson and may be requested to do so.

Do I need to buy anything or bring anything to the class?

All attendees of all types must have a: 

- crate they can use (working spots' car crate can be smaller than home crate and may be any secure material; XXL pups may use another method to secure pup in car - please contact us about this or should you have concerns about a crate in the car) 

- basic 6 foot leash 

- treats as well as a small bag of dog's regular diet (we recommend dried raw food for class for raw fed pups) 

- virtual attendees should acquire the supplies included in the Puppy Bag or similar
