I was so nervous about boarding my dog with a new boarder after a bad experience with other boarding but am so glad I chose Beyond the Walk. Diane is phenomenal with my very large, energetic, anxious Doberman. She is knowledgeable and gives advice on what we should do about his anxiety and endless energy. She is fantastic with training and all the girls there are so friendly and responsible. Pricing is reasonable (though honestly I don't care what the cost is, Diane's services are top notch and my dog is worth every penny). The yard they have for the dogs is huge and the house is always clean. I know my sweet boy is always in good hands when I board him at BtW. I recommend Beyond the Walk to everyone.

What a wonderful experience! Diane was fantastic. She was able to help us last minute after our original boarding plans fell through, and we will absolutely be taking our dogs back to her! She was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and I felt very comfortable leaving our dogs in her care. She sent me a few photo and video updates and when the hurricane was coming through she communicated with me to make sure her enrichment treats were okay. I couldn't have asked for any better!! I am posting here to say this trainer truly does not deserve a 1 star review and if there were 6, I would generously give that instead of 5. Their head trainer and owner, Diane, is extremely knowledgeable and passionate in her work and education on dogs. Sometimes knowledge can create conflict amongst us pet owners because we tend to carry a lot of emotions around our beloved pets. Nobody likes to hear things such as their dog is aggressive and can not be fixed. Unfortunately, sometimes it is the truth. I am ashamed for the people who have given this person 1 star reviews based on an educational video that was shared and opened the eyes for many, including myself, and if you are reading this debating on whether or not to hire Diane, please have at the very least a phone conversation with her and take a look at her work and I am sure you will feel the same way I do!

Beyond the Walk is great! We have been going here since day 1 when we got our puppy. It is great socialization and was very good to get my puppy used to crate training. When we were away, Diane sends us photos of our dog having the best time! She keeps us informed and gives us updates. There is no hesitation on where to bring her when we are away. What we really like is Diane bases playtime on the friendliness and temperament of each dog. Diane is very knowledgeable in nutrition as well as many other aspects to make sure we have what is the best for our pup - it helped us make a very conscious decision for what to look for in dog food. The location from our home is a little out of our way but we still wouldn't consider going anywhere else!

This place, and Diane, are amazing!!! It was the first time I was leaving my very dog reactive rescue and I was so nervous. Diane took the time to make sure my dog Lilo was settled in before we left and really made sure she was comfortable, and gave me plenty of updates while I was away to put my mind at ease. You can just tell she really cares about the dogs and takes such pride in her work. Lilo came back so happy!! This place is absolutely worth taking a drive for and I wouldn’t trust my dog anywhere else. Can’t recommend enough!!

My husband and I are thrilled with our experiences at Beyond the Walk. I have two rescue hounds and they adore Diane. I am always so anxious to leave them, especially with one of my pups being blind. Diane makes us feel so comfortable and I have total confidence in her care. I get picture and video updates and she individualizes the care she gives each dog. We had such a great experience with Diane at Beyond the Walk! We left our puppy for the first time since getting her for an 8 day trip. I think she had so much more fun with Diane and the other pups than she ever has at home! We got regular updates via text including pictures, and it made us feel so good, knowing she was well cared for and enjoying herself. 5 stars! Added 7 months later: we have now done some virtual training with Diane, as our puppy has been exhibiting behavioral problems, as well as seeming a bit stressed and overwhelmed by my kids all being home all the time during COVID. We would like to give our recommendation to Beyond the Walk. We have known Diane for over six months and there is no question as to her love for dogs. Diane has been an exceptional trainer and loving caretaker to our Boston Terrier Feist, Rosie. She is extremely knowledgeable, reliable, efficient and devoted to all under her care. Diane has shown to be quite flexible with regard to our schedules, giving short notice on more than one occasion. Her rates are very reasonable for the services provided. She had gone above and beyond in our request for occasional grooming services; bathing, trimming of nails, cleaning of ears. She provided us with pics of Rosie’s ongoing training and play time as she bonded with her new friends. Diane forms a loving relationship with all in her care and is attentive to their needs and very observant at all times. She does not hesitate to call us if she feels something is not right or has a question. Diane welcomes our calls and happily answers questions we may have as first time, anxious parents of our precious baby.Beyond the Walk has a fenced in yard with plenty of space to run and play. In her home you will find more than enough provisions to provide rest and quiet time; calming music as a plus. Rosie is always happy when she hears she is going to “Miss Diane’s”. She wags her tail in excitement, looks up at her leash and jumps into the car, unlike her response when going to the vet! Diane knows Rosie’s likes and dislikes, and provides new and exciting toys to challenge and further stimulate her interest. We are blessed to know Diane and would recommend her to anyone.

I have had only GREAT experiences with “Beyond.” I have 3 dogs - two of which are Malinois - and each one of them has a big personality. Diane does a fantastic job managing their behaviors to maximize fun and to significantly decrease the stress of being away from home. We love seeing our pups on Facebook and how much fun they’re having! It’s one of the best parts of being away. 😊 Diane understands that first impressions aren’t everything. Beyond the Walk is just wonderful! We have tried two other places (an extreme high end and a moderately price) both let us down and our puppy was just a number. We finally went to beyond the walk on a recommendation from a friend and Diane was awesome with Finn. Diane would send us pictures of Finn and let us know daily on how he was doing. When we called or text her she was able to give us information on our pup. We will not be going anywhere else. We have already booked her for the rest of this year. Thanks again for making Finn feel right at home and making us comfortable leaving him under your care.

I cannot speak more highly of Beyond the Walk. We have used them a lot both for short- and long-term stays and Diane and her team have all gone beyond the call of duty to make our dog Angus as happy and comfortable as he can be away from home. Diane sends us photos and videos of Angus often to keep us connected, which brightened the day of our elderly mother when she was in the hospital. The BTW staff are very friendly, professional, and flexible especially with our sometimes unpredictable pick up and drop off schedules. In short: highly recommended. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Literally the day that I was leaving for my trip my original dog sitter plans had fallen thru. I contacted Beyond the Walk and received a response promptly that there was room available. Beyond the walk was a LIFESAVER. Diane Orenchuk is gentle, kind, and a devoted person to her career. You can tell that her love and passion for dogs is immeasurable. Not only did Diane give her a great home to stay, but also all the love and attention she needed. Diane kept us informed, updated us with pictures, took her on adventures, and even bathed her and washed her blankie!! This was Layla's first time being boarded, so I was nervous at first. But let me tell you, Layla barely wanted to leave when we went to pick her up, she had that much fun! It was as if she was on her own little doggie vacation :) Thank you Diane for taking care of Layla and loving her like your own. And most importantly, thank you for taking such good care of her that I actually got to enjoy my vacation without one worry about her! Layla will be back in the near future for sure!

Diane truly goes above and beyond for all dogs. One of my former foster dogs went missing from her adoptive home, which happens to be near Diane. She spent hours upon hours upon hours canvassing the area with lost dog posters, and searching until Umbra was home safe two weeks later. She had no connection to this dog whatsoever, she simply helped because she was nearby and she is a truly amazing individual.

Let me start by saying I am a CRAZY fur mom. It took me SIX months (yes you read that correct) to find someone to watch my dog while I went on vacation. I found Diane through maxwell and Molly’s where I get my dog food. I trusted their opinion and from the minute I spoke with Diane on the phone I knew she was the right fit. She showed compassion about my dog before she even met him. Anyone who knows my dog knows he’s a handful (we actually nicknamed him “ari the asshole” bc he’s out of control, needy and requires a ton of attention. The minute I pulled up to her house I cried like a baby bc it was my first time leaving him. He adapted the minute he walked in and forgot I was even there. That night I received a few pictures and videos of Ari playing with all the other dogs. I picked him up and he did not want to leave. Anytime I go to the car ari Bolts to my car hoping we are headed to Diane’s. I can’t thank her enough for her love and compassion not only to my fur baby but also to the owners. I feel so lucky to know he’s always in good hands

Oh... ari also learned a few tricks and some house training while he stays there too! He now sits when I ask him too which he never did before!!!!

***** fast forward to almost one year later. Ari still loves beyond the walk and his time with his new furry friends. Diane is absolutely AMAZING. Helpful with not just daycare and boarding, but also there anytime I need help or advice with new foods, health issues etc. she even came with me to the vet when Ari was sick because I didn’t want to go alone. Who does that???? Especially with her busy schedule she was right there beside me. I can’t thank her enough for everything.

Highly recommended. Diane and her team went beyond the call of duty to look after my elderly mother's small dog (Angus) when she went into the hospital unexpectedly. They received Angus with short notice, asked a lot of good questions about Angus' background, personality and needs, and gave him top notch customized care and attention. My two dogs couldn’t be more different... one is super playful and easy going, the other loves being held and is a little (a lot) more high maintenance.... We have found our forever boarder for Bella in Diane. She was amazing we received updates while we were away with pictures, that made us feel so secure. She was accessible while we were away as well, if we had any questions. When we picked Bella up, she really was able to help us with finding a good harness for our older dog with some orthopedic issues. She is so knowledgeable and really caring about all dogs. We are definitely going to continue using Diane, anytime we need to board Bella.

We never boarded our 8 month old puppy before and decided on using Beyond the Walk. Diane answered all my questions and actually gave me some helpful recommendations for our little guy. She is very knowledgeable and competent. She texted me how he was doing throughout the day along with cute photos of him playing with one of Diane’s dogs. He came home happy and tired! I would definitely use Beyond the Walk again and would recommend!!

What a wonderful experience. When my husband and I went to pick up Rye at Diane’s house our pup was so happy. I can tell she was very comfortable and felt safe in Diane’s home. I missed my girl but Diane sent me videos, pictures and daily reports to let us know her progress! She came home last night and when I got home from work today she was greeted me calmly. We brought my 1 year old Pitt hound mix Rye to Beyond the Walk for board and train boot camp! What a wonderful experience for Rye and our family. We are so happy with the incredible results. I was so happy when I found out about Beyond the Walk. My dog is scared of other places especially if I have to board him at the vet, which makes leaving him so hard. Diane though was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable about dogs. She asked all the important questions to make sure my dog wasn't put in any situations where he would not feel comfortable while in her care. Otis immediately felt at home during our initial meet and greet and throughout his stay, Diane kept me up to date with texts. Upon picking him up, Otis was visibly in happy spirits and seemed sad to have to say goodbye to his new found friend. We are thrilled to have found Diane! My two dogs absolutely loved her. How do I know this when I was away? Because I was replaying a video that she sent me while on vacation and my 2 dogs came running and wagging their tails after hearing her voice on the video! My Jack Russell was whimpering when he heard her which is what he does when he gets excited. She spent a lot of time going over their needs & habits with us and kept in contact with me all week thru texts/emails/pics/videos. They both arrived home happy, rested and cared for where in the past, when boarded at other places, they would arrive home scratched, tired, dirty & weary. It's only March and I've already booked with Diane for the Christmas holidays! For as long as Diane is in the area, we will not consider boarding our doggies anywhere else.

Diane has such a connection with dogs. She took care of my four dogs this summer and they were treated as if they were home. Diane took pictures and videos to show me how comfortable my dogs were -- She really put my husband and mine minds at ease. We are so happy Diane has moved into our area and that we found her! We recently went on a long vacation. Having never left our pup with anyone, we began to grab at straws to find good doggy care. This is exactly what we found at Beyond the Walk!! We expressed our concern about our nervous pup and Diane suggested bringing him for a visit or two to try and acclimate him to her environment. This was such a big help to our nervous critter! It took him a couple of days to feel at home, but at home was what he was for his stay with Diane!!! We were afraid he would not want to come home with us!! Diane sent videos to us and kept in touch to let us know our pup was happy and safe. She went the extra mile to be sure our "escape artist" did not have a way to get to the big bad highway. She is super sweet and has the heart and "know how" needed to take care of our furry family members!!!If ever we have the need again we are happy our pup has a place to call his second home!

Diane is amazing!!! Diane truly cares for animals. She fostered Foxy, a young chihuahua, prior to my adoption. During the adoption process Diane went above and beyond her duties! Foxy had a difficult time adjusting to her new home, but Diane spent many hours on the phone and countless texts to help me work with Foxy. She was so concerned about Foxy's depressed-like behavior post-adoption that she would text me every day to check in and see what had worked or not with Foxy. She would suggest things to try with Foxy. Over time ( and with a little help from extra treats) Foxy became herself. Diane is FANTASTIC with communication. I always had a response from her within 24 hours, but typically she responded back within a few hours! If I lived near Diane, I would trust her and want her as my dog walker!

I met Diane when I became a foster through a rescue she volunteered for. Due to her condo association changing their rules, she was being forced to regime her current foster which is where I came in. It should be noted that Diane is so dedicated to fostering and caring for dogs that she immediately put her condo on the market! You will not find a woman more passionate about dogs and their care! She is not only knowledgeable and experienced from her work at the ASPCA as well as fostering, she is thorough and thoughtful in her assessment of potential adopters so she knows what good treatment of dogs looks like. There could not be a more trustworthy caretaker for your dog.
