Danielle went to the University of Rhode Island for her Bachelors in Science then went on to get her Masters in Teaching with a concentration in Special Education. Danielle works full time as a special education teacher teaching second grade students.
Danielle is a proud pet mom of four fur babies; two dogs and two cats. She found her love for dog training four years ago when she got her first puppy, Jaxon, and began training him. Six months later she adopted her second dog, a five year old displaced farm dog named Boss, who was a bit more of a challenge. Through applying positive reinforcement training to the challenges of training a dog who had never lived in a home before, was not potty trained and did not know his name, a beautiful relationship was born.
She enjoys hiking with her dogs and traveling. Since January 2017 Danielle and her dogs, including foster dogs she is caring for, have hiked over 300 hikes over the tristate area, Maine, and Vermont. Danielle is also a dedicated volunteer in rescue through fostering and walking and training dogs at shelters to help them become easier candidates to find their forever homes. Both of Danielle’s dogs are certified therapy dogs through Creature Comfort Pet Therapy, where she also volunteers her time evaluating future therapy teams.
