Certified Professional Dog Trainer through CCPDT

About My Care

Your dog's happiness and comfort is my first priority.

I provide a safe, nurturing environment to help your dog overcome their fears, exercise their energy and facilitate the growth of their many wonderful qualities. I am home full-time. I have worked with a vast variety of dogs for over 5 years, fostered over 25 dogs in my home, worked for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and am currently a trainer with It's Your Dog, School for Dogs. I have experience in fearful, high arousal/energy, resource guarding and dog selective behaviors.

I earned the title of CPDT-KA from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and a Bachelors Degree from the Anisfield School of Business at Ramapo College of NJ. I believe in reward and motivation-based training. I use food, toys and other rewards to reinforce desirable behaviors. I work at each dog's pace and never use force. Dogs are individuals, therefore I base my socialization of each dog based on each dog's preferences. I am fluent in dog body language and respect the dog's communication. It is my pleasure to provide care for your dog.
